Daniel Terry

Managing Director - Convergent Partners

Daniel was the co-founder of Genesis Event Management Inc. and the Emergency Preparedness Leadership Forums. His prior event experience has been, producing trade shows, conferences and event management services for more than 20 years primarily in sports, non-profit and technology space.

Much of his career was spent with Imark communications/American Show Management in sales and management, which he helped grow the itec brand to over 50 annual events nation-wide and more than 250,000 attendees. By developing partnerships with business, government, universities and colleges from around the nation, Imark established a strong regional presence and national scope. Daniel launched the Oregon Economic and Business Forum and Emergency Preparedness Leadership Forum during his career. As well, Dan’s event resume includes managing College Football’s Playoff Fan Experience and managing events for organizations like Nike, Under Armor and Cyber Security Alliance.

In addition, Mr. Terry has served on numerous non-profit boards such as Jubilee Christian Fellowship, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, American Heart Association, and the Portland Rescue Mission. He graduated from Western Oregon State College, where he met his wife. They have been married for 32 years and have 3 daughters; twin 23-year-old girls who are recent graduates at the University of Oregon and a 28 year old daughter a graduate from Music Institute in Los Angeles. The Terry’s also have a love for German Shepherds which are a big part of their family.
